Bauble Buzz: Jewelry News for November 2016

As we start gearing up for the holiday season, November is full of exciting events and trade shows! Take a look at what’s happening this month in the jewelry industry.

Birthstones of the Month: Citrine and Topaz

Citrine and topaz bring a bit of warmth to the chilly month of November with their bright, sunny hues. Although they look very similar, citrine and topaz are unrelated gems. Citrine is often referred to as the “healing quartz”, as legend says that it brings peace, vitality, and comfort to those who wear it.

Topaz symbolizes love and affection, and can be found in a variety of colors, including yellow, pink, and blue. Citrine is given as a gift for the 13th or 17th wedding anniversary, while topaz is given for the 4th and 23rd wedding anniversary.
